“April is the Month of Lights,” Pastor Chris Heralds at Global service

Palpable joy filled the air as the month of April was declared to be 'the Month of Lights' by the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome at the April Global Communion Service on Sunday, April 2nd. "This month we are going to light up the darkness everywhere, ablaze for God, shining and burning everywhere because we are shining lights," Pastor Chris remarked. He enjoined the global congregation to deploy their extraordinary capacity in Christ to effect changes and lighten up their world. Ministering during the global service, Pastor Chris expounded that the word of God is light that gives direction to men’s paths. He emphasized the brazen infallibility of the scriptures irrespective of individual life experiences. Reading from 2 Peter 1:16-19, the man of God re-echoed the dependability of God’s Word and steered the saints to cleave to it in the face of the dark and daunting experiences they may be faced with. “Take heed to hold on to the scriptures like a man in a squallish place who sees a flicker of light in a dark place,” Pastor Chris remarked as he reiterated the supremacy of God’s Word.
