A New Life of Victory!

on Sep 22 in Salvation, Uncategorized tagged by admin

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). This means, old things, old limitations, old troubles, old pains, are passed away and all things have become new. A brand new life of victory is what you receive when you are born again; not when you get to heaven, but right here on earth.

You’ve been given the right to live a good life and walk in supernatural prosperity and divine health. It’s also a life of soul-winning, for you’ve been called into the ministry of reconciliation: “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18). This means you must also openly testify of Jesus to those around you and serve Him with your life.

Make conscious efforts to find out from the Word of God today who you are – what rights and privileges belong to you, and what obligations are expected of you. This will help you discover more about the glorious life in Christ that you’ve received.

Only In The Name Of Jesus!

on Sep 05 in Salvation, Uncategorized tagged by admin

The Lord Jesus minced no words when it came to salvation; He said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6) He never suggested that salvation could come from any other means or through anyone else but Him.

As a Christian, you must be absolutely convinced that there’s no salvation in any other name, except the Name of Jesus. When it dawns on your spirit that Jesus is the ONLY Name given under heaven by which men shall be saved, you’ll preach the gospel with conviction. The Bible says “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). The way to receive salvation is to confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus, and believe with your heart that God raised Him from the dead for your justification.

When the sinner confesses with his mouth, the Lordship of Jesus, and believes in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, he’s immediately passed from death unto life.

The Bible tells us of Cornelius, a Roman centurion; he was a devout and generous man, but he was not saved (Acts 10:2). When the angel of God appeared to him, he didn’t say “Cornelius, your good deeds outweigh your bad deeds, so salvation is yours”; the angel had to tell him to send for Peter, who would tell him words by which he would be saved. When Peter got to Cornelius’ house, he preached to him and his household, the message of Christ’s salvation, declaring to them that anyone who believes in Jesus will receive remission of sins and be saved (Acts 10:43).

Understand that salvation is not in any other name, but in the Name of Jesus. So when you preach the gospel, don’t preach apologetically. The whole world needs to know that the Name of Jesus is the only name given to men by which they must be saved.

The Symbol Of God’s Blessings!

on Jul 27 in Salvation, Uncategorized tagged by admin

“God has called and chosen you for a purpose, and that is to show forth through you His manifold wisdom and demonstrate His excellence to your world. It’s His purpose and desire to prove His extraordinary greatness in your life. He told Israel, you’ll be the head and not the tail; you’ll be above and not beneath” (Deuteronomy 28:13).

Now, being the head doesn’t necessarily mean becoming the managing director of an organization. Look at Joseph; he went into Potiphar’s house as a slave, but the Bible says he was a prosperous man. When Potiphar recognized that the Lord was with Joseph and that all he did prospered, he put him in charge of his entire household and everything he had, and God blessed him for Joseph’s sake (Genesis 39:1-5).

Make up your mind to live up to your calling. You’re the symbol of God’s blessings wherever you are, for you’re the carrier of His presence and His grace. Let others take notice that because of you, favour has come to them; expansion has come to their business, and progress to the entire city. Praise God!

Reach-out with Love!

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19)

Most people feel empty and sad because they don’t have love in them, but that’s not the case for one who is born again. If you’re born again you have love in you, therefore, it’s your responsibility to go out and share it.
God has reconciled you to Himself by Jesus Christ and has committed unto you the ministry of reconciling others to Him. Now, you’re the one to show the loveless that have no hope, the love of God, for you have it in your heart.
Make it your mission to be a beacon of light and hope to the destitute, abandoned and neglected. Let them know that they’re the reason Jesus came, and they have access to all of God’s blessings and goodness through Him. Dispense that love today; sow that gift of love into someone’s life today.

Blessed To Be a Blessing!

“And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:29)

In Genesis 12:2, God said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” All the promises of God to Abraham weren’t just to Abraham, but to Abraham and his seed. Galatians 3:16 says, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ.” Notice that it says, “to Abraham and his seed”; not seeds. That seed is Christ; and as a new creation, you belong to Christ; therefore, you’re the seed of Abraham! (Galatians 3:29).

Your union with Christ automatically qualified you as the authentic descendant of Abraham, and by extension, the heir of the Abrahamic blessings. This means that not only are you specially blessed of God, you’re also a blessing; you’re a conveyor of eternal verities!

In you, shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; what a life! You’re the distributor of God’s blessings, and anyone who associates with you is sure to receive a blessing from God!

Having been born again, you’re a God-carrier; a conveyor of His love, power, glory, virtue, compassion and grace everywhere you go.

Christ is Our life

For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory” (1 John 3:2 AMP)

From our opening verse, the Bible tells us that Christ is our life! This means the life you have now as a born again child of God is not from your blood anymore but from God. His life (Zoë) flows through your body, it keeps you healthy and strong. Amazing!

You have a divine life that’s so different from that of the ordinary man. It’s the indestructible life of the new creation that God talks about in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (NKJV). You are now divine just as your heavenly Father is divine.

Christ being your life means you’re the expression of God’s glory, wisdom and righteousness to your world. Little wonder Apostle Paul said to the Colossian church, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). His life in you is hope for your world, and this therefore bequeaths to you a responsibility of leadership.

Called to A Life of Liberty

on Jan 14 in Salvation, Uncategorized tagged by admin

God has ordained for you to live completely independent of circumstances. You must not find yourself living in bondage to poverty, sickness, disease or death, because you are a new creation. Jesus dealt with sin which is the root of sickness, poverty and disease when he died on the cross to set you free. And the Bible affirms that He who the Son has set free is free indeed! (John 8:36). You must remain in that liberty for sin shall not have dominion over you. It is indeed a life of total freedom!

You don’t need to run around seeking deliverance from sin or from the devil, for were delivered already when you received salvation. You must never allow yourself be entangled by any yoke of bondage. Take advantage of your complete liberty in Christ Jesus and stay in it!

Triumph in His Authority

on Aug 31 in Salvation tagged by admin

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

When were born again, you were born into a life of greatness and royalty – you were born to reign. Revelation 5:10 says, Christ Jesus has, “…made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” This clearly shows us that we were raised to reign in Christ Jesus; we’re kings and priests; we’re men and women of honour and authority.

In Mark 6:7, the Bible says “And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits.” The Greek word for “power” here is “exousia” and it means “authority”. Jesus has given us authority over unclean spirits; we live in His victory and triumph over them: “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15). Hallelujah!

So every Christian has authority over the devil, and his cohorts; it a birthright! Thus, you should never live in fear of the devil because he’s defeated. Live free of sickness, poverty, failure, unproductivity, unfruitfulness, or any other thing connected with the devil and darkness. Triumph in Christ’s authority.
