Episode 11 :: Question 11 on Growing a Church

on Jun 21 in Church, growth and maturity, soul winning/evangelism tagged by qatranscripts

Question 11 – Pastor Godwin (Ghana): Dear Pastor, for about 9 months, my church has not grown. We are still between 20-25 in membership strength and even those members are mostly children. What should I do?

Answer 11: Go for evangelism; that’s what you do. You’ve got to go out and win souls. You don’t have to wait for everybody in church to do that; you go out first. You can win more people, you can win another 25 yourself, and if you win people and disciple them to do the same thing you’re doing, you’ll have a large church. It won’t take you long, because they will take up a character of the Pastor in soul winning, so that’s what you’ve got to do. You get yourself ready, go out and win soul. When you win souls, those souls in turn will win others and the growth will be endless.
