    I have also made it my aim to invite one person for both wednesday and sunday service.
    Personally i am listening more of Pastor Chris CD’s and watching television less. i have come out of the closet and become bolder in proclaiming words of faith and identifying myself as a christian.
    I have become more serious in taking responsibilities at church.
    From January as i spoke more in tongues my life has been transformed so greatly.
    The Holy spirit has taught me that ”Men shall not live by bread alone” so my craving for food is less but my craving for the word of God is more.
    I give thanks to God for bringing me into this ministry. Amen!

    • Precious2dmosthigh says:

      Whose report will you believe. How can science know more than God. Nobody knows when Christ is coming back and that is FACT!! Its God’s Word!!! Have a good day!!!!

  10. charles says:

    well,bro gerr, it is all up to you who you do believe and that determines what rules your entire beign of existence,……if you are a christian and believe scientific predictions based on the mayan calendar about 2012 ,good for you.we believe the contextual word of God as contained in the bible ;and that is the manual/programme for all of God’s creation.jesus said without mincing words “………not even the son knows when the world comes to an end” i.e talking about his second coming…..however ,the way and manner the world is coming to an end has been explicitly spelt out on the pages of the holy scripture….cant tell u enough but study the books of prophet daniel and revelation by st john……God bless you

    Cameroon United For Peace in 2011

    Yaounde, 06 October 2011

    To: Men of God, Believers in Christ, People of Honour and Goodwill
    Subject: PRAY FOR CAMEROON

    Beloved in the Lord,
    Cameroonians will go to the polls on Sunday October 9 2011 to elect a new President. But security reports and violent events in the build up to the crucial election have brewed tensions in the masses and raised concern that the erstwhile peaceful nation could slide into irreversible social strife if God’s intervention is not sought.

    For months now, it has been laid in the hearts of Christians in Cameroon to request for prayers for peace in Cameroon. Visions revealed by the spirit to many devoted Christians around the country have exposed possible scenarios of mayhem in the country this year. The present political dispensation in the country better confirms this threat. Thousands of prayer requests have been tendered in ministries around the country requesting intercession for God’s intervention in Cameroon this year. Some specific requests inspired by the spirit suggested that powerful men of God around the world be contacted to pray for Cameroon. This message is a clarion call to Christians and sympathisers all over the world for special intercession before the Most High God for his mercy upon the lives of Cameroonians at this crucial point in the history of the country.

    Background
    With elections to choose a new president set for next Sunday 9 October 2011, political stakes in the country are very high, popular expectation is keen and social tension mounting. This ominous socio-political climate stems from the fact that after three decades of failed administration, the incumbent president of the country, Paul Biya, is unwilling to step down. The signs of a pending social crisis have been in the air since February 2008 when hundreds of protesters were gunned down by armed forces at the order of Paul Biya who wanted to modify the constitution of the country so as to secure another mandate in office. Thanks to a heavy-handed military backing, the incumbent succeeded to change the constitutional clause prohibiting him from seeking another term to his advantage. This irked the patience of the masses. Ever since, tempers have been flaring and rumours of violent uprisings during this election year have flourished. On Thursday September 29 2011, a group of unidentified gunmen blocked traffic on a strategic bridge in the economic capital Douala in the early hours of the day. They fired gunshots in the air calling on Paul Biya to step down. This incident wreaked panic in the masses and fear of the unknown is on many hearts.

    Prayer Topics
    The main prayer concerns are:
    - A peaceful and hitch-free organisation of elections on 9 October and thereafter;
    - Protection of the votes of citizens and thwarting of all rigging operations;
    - Probity in the hearts members of the elections organising body, ELECAM
    - God’s divine intervention to free the people from the dictatorship that has visited misery and poverty on the people for 30 years now;
    - Uprooting of the devilish occult foundations on which the regime in Yaounde is planted and has thrived for decades;
    - Frustration of every evil plan to order the use of military force to crush honest citizens in the name of consolidating power;
    - Destruction of any ominous plan to instigate an armed insurrection to claim the lives of innocent citizens or seizing it;
    - A peaceful inauguration of the winner of the elections;
    - A new dawn of change in Cameroon heralding a society in which citizens enjoy the fruits of their hard work in an atmosphere of merit and probity.

    Cause for Concern
    Cameroon’s present demographic dispensation provides an ideal backdrop for a popular revolt with deleterious effects that could attain the scale of genocide if unchecked. Cameroon is a country that is sharply divided across tribal lines. Part of the strategy of the Biya regime has been to take advantage of the over 200 ethnic groups through a divide-and-rule approach. At the same time, a stringent policy of ethnic political compensations has been instituted with very few tribes specially favoured by power above the majority of groupings abandoned to oblivion. Since coming to power in 1982, Biya has consolidated his powerbase around his ethnic Beti clan. Top civilian and military positions in the public sphere are occupied by mostly cadres drawn from the president’s tribe. A vast majority of tribes are left to quaff in a badly organised private sector that suffers the damage caused by embezzlement perpetrated by a highly corrupt government elite.

    Politically speaking, a rising wave of discord is perceptible within president Biya’s ruling party that has a legacy of rigging elections to maintain the Machiavellian-type system in power. This state of affairs results from the failure of the political entity to change its ruling class. Party positions have been held by just the same group of individuals during most of the 26-year history of the party. Old men well above 50 still control the youth wing of the party to the chagrin of an embittered disenfranchised youth. The dynamism of the younger segment of population is only exploited in the party’s rigging machinery in exchange for fickle gifts of food, drink and empty promises that never get fulfilled.

    Here is a regime manned by a gang of very old men with a legacy for crushing talent and upholding mediocrity in public office. As early as the 1960s, most of the men in power today were already enjoying privileged positions in authority. During those days they were hailed by elders of the time as leaders of tomorrow. Tomorrow came and they had their fair share. They were mostly in their 20s, yet already ranking as sub-directors and directors. But fifty years after they got into the power bubble they are still in control and shamelessly preaching about a better future for the youth.

    Here is a regime that prides itself in the use of spiritual intimidation of the people. This regime has deep roots in devilish occult strongholds that cast spells and curses on people. These evil sects use the blood of innocent citizens, especially young people, for pagan sacrifices intended to consolidate power. The cabal of sexagenarians and septuagenarians in power perpetrate paedophilia and cross-generational sex, homosexuality and sodomy in a bid to subjugate desperate youths who believe such relationships would herald a better future. But hopes are often dashed. Young women are coerced to give-up their intimacy while young boys are intimidated by sex-hungry nannies fit to be their grandmothers.

    Here is a regime controlled by a band of despots who thrive on hold-up tactics and distractive gimmicks that douse the burning zeal and ambition of the people. The culture of massive beer consumption is encouraged by government to snuff-out constructive reasoning abilities in the masses while football has been instituted as a tool to dampen the will of the masses from enterprising projects. Development incentives are easily killed by corruption and inertia. This has left public infrastructure in an advanced state of deterioration with roads becoming death-traps. Nothing good seems to come out of the country anymore.

    Cameroon is a country endowed with enormous deposits of natural resources. Crude oil flows abundantly offshore from its Atlantic coast, huge amounts of minerals including gold, iron ore, bauxite, cobalt, nickel etc are laid in its subsoil. Its forests are rich with timber and its soils are very fertile. But the wealth from these God given treasures has hardly trickled down to help the masses. Under the close watch of president Biya’s regime, the ruling barons have plundered the riches provided by our Creator to their own selfish ends. They ride in fleets of plush cars on craggy roads and build huge palaces and mansions for their girlfriends next to shacks in shanties inhabited by the poor. They spray banknotes on hotel and nightclub bills, compete for the best suits, champagnes and cigars in the European markets and spend fancy holidays in foreign havens while ordinary citizens can hardly afford a balanced meal. The ordinary citizen is left in penury suffering the social and environmental costs of the exploitation of this natural wealth. That which God meant to be a blessing for the people has now become a curse. The people are just so eager to claim their due.

    Commission
    Beloved in the Lord, these few realities and a legion more not cited here for reason of space, demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt that Cameroon is a nation at the brink of socio-political eruption. The political institutions have failed the people for 30 years and there does not seem to be any solution in the very near future. We can most certainly count on God’s divine intervention to prevent the worst. He says in his word that he is a God of impossibilities. Just like he led the children of Israel from the house of bondage, he is still faithful and just to save Cameroon from the pangs of an obnoxious regime. We only need to call on him. And more than ever before, your prayer counts. So let’s get on our knees now and intercede for Cameroon.

    Thirty seconds of your prayer time can work miracles for Cameroon. Wherever you are, you too can lend your heart in prayer for Cameroon. Invite your local congregation and spread the word to friends in the neighbourhood and in distant lands for God’s grace to be made manifest in Cameroon in 2011. Spread the word.

  22. Wellington Chadehumbe says:

    Dear Pastor Chris,
    I was touched by your New Year message, particularly your emphasis on education, to which I attach just as much importance. In the blog posting, “Anointed to Know” in December, you espoused the role of the Holy Spirit in helping us excel intellectually and professionally and stated, as I have always believed, that born-again Christians should be the head and not the tail on scientific matters, among other areas of intellectual competence. Again, this resonates with my Spirit.

    I have often wondered what then the role of miracles is. Could we say that miracles are really unexplained science, in that before there was a cure for malaria, a miracle would have been required rather than the administration of quinine. Could we therefore conclude that the could come a day when man will not need a boat to cross a lake but merely walk across like the Lord Jesus did or that we will in future not need to fly but merely be instantaneously translocated to a different geography like happened to Philip in Acts? This way, rather than scientific being inspired only by science fiction, as is the norm at present, they would also be inspired by the Word.

    Blessings,

    Bro Wellington Chadehumbe

    MASTURBATION
    Haba Pastor Chris! You say, “it is just an ordinary sinless habit”?
    See this link: http://www.gnaija.net/profiles/blog/show?id=2396094%3ABlogPost%3A1144207&xgs=1&xg_source=msg_share_post
    Pastor Chris says “It’s all about you and your own body. It’s got nothing to do against God” That’s what homosexuals, pedophiles, bestials, smokers, lesbians and drug addicts say. But someone in the footsteps of the Apostles would say:

    1Corinthians 6:19
    (19) What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own?

    That was so strange and wrong of Pastor Christ. Who says there is no place where such inordinate affection and evil concupiscence and lasciviousness with our bodies and minds is condemned as sinful in the Scripture?

    Colossians 3:5-6
    (5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
    (6) For which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience:

    2Corinthians 12:21
    (21) And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall mourn over many who have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and licentiousness which they have committed.
    Jesus further said:
    Matthew 5:27-28
    (27) You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not commit adultery:
    (28) But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
