Let the Word dominate you.

The Word of God has the ability to impact not only your spirit and your mind, but also your physical body. In Hebrews 4:12, the Bible says God’s Word reaches right into your soul and spirit, and your joints and bone marrow. That means as you take the Word into you, it goes into your mind, and impacts every fiber of your being.

God’s Word works in your spirit the same way physical food works in your body. Just as the food you eat is broken down and absorbed until it becomes part of you, so also the Word of God that you receive into your spirit,becomes in you what it says.

The Bible says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all” (1 timothy 4:15). What are you supposed to meditate on? God’s Word!

Make the quality decision today to let God’s Word dominate you. Be a doer and not just a hearer of the Word. Have definite times when you listen to God’s Word and study the Scriptures voraciously. Have definite times of meditation, when you ruminate on the Word and speak it until it soaks deeply into you.

As you allow the Word of God dominate you, sickness, failure, and everything that comes from the devil will not find place in your life. You’ll live victoriously every day!

The “Un-Infectable” Breed!

And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them… (Mark 16:17-18).

The Words of Jesus in this Scripture above are as clear as they ever could be- the believer is immune to deadly ingestions! If he drinks any deadly or poisonous substance, it should have no effect on him. Notice that Jesus didn’t say, “If they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not kill them,” He said “it shall not hurt them.” This means it’s not supposed to hurt you, let alone kill you. It makes no difference whether the deadly substance gets into your system through your mouth or through your veins–it shall have no effect on you.

The Bible gives us the account of the Apostle Paul, after he and his co-travelers were shipwrecked at the island of Malta. Being a very cold Island, the natives went out of their way to build a huge bonfire and gathered Paul and his colleagues around it. The Bible says “After Paul had gathered some wood and had put it on the fire, the heat caused a snake to crawl out, and it bit him on the hand” (Acts 28:3 CEV).

Everybody watching froze in terror because they knew that specie of snake injects deadly venom into the bloodstream of its victims. But Paul “shook the snake off into the fire and wasn’t harmed” (Acts 28:5 CEV). Then, the people “watched him for a long time, and when nothing happened to him, they changed their minds and said, “This man is a god” (Acts 28:6 CEV). That’s exactly what God has called us–gods (Psalm 82:6), because we can’t be harmed or poisoned.

The life of God has completely supplanted the human life with which you were born. That life is divine and can’t be affected or infected by any deadly thing. If you were hurt by something you ingested in the past, the truth has come to you now; live in the reality of this truth henceforth. You’re now a partaker of the divine nature.

Suffering is Absolutely Unnecessary!

God takes no pleasure in suffering. There is no joy in pain, cancer, tuberculosis or paralysis. Jesus paid the price for your health, peace and prosperity. He died to make you strong; He didn’t leave anything out. Therefore your suffering is absolutely unnecessary.

You must understand that the devil will not leave your life without negotiation. He will continue to oppress you until you say no to him. You must forcibly kick him out of your body. Never forget that the devil doesn’t play fair; that’s why Jesus said, “cast out devils.”

There is no sickness you are suffering today that you are supposed to suffer. There is no disease in your life today that you are supposed to have. The Word of God is the power to heal and to save. That power will destroy every disease; it’ll destroy cancer, tumor and every growth. It will also cleanse your blood. Man’s sympathy wouldn’t do you any good. Salvation describes the totality of what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. It’s freedom made available without charge. That’s what Jesus did for us.

Jesus is still the same.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
The Lord Jesus is still doing today, the same things He did in Bible days when He had the great multitude with Him and healed them of their diseases.
When you study the life of Jesus, you’ll see that He was always moved with compassion for people, and He’s still the same today. It’s erroneous to think that the reason Jesus healed people back then, was because there were no hospitals or sufficient medical aid. God heals because He is God and loves to do good things for His children. In spite of the medical help available to us today, there are still so many sicknesses and diseases that are labeled incurable. Fortunately, there is a God in heaven, who still heals the sick and meets those who would call on Him at the point of their needs.

God never fails and He hasn’t changed. He cannot change. What He did in Bible days, He is able to do today. Call on Him today; He specializes in doing good things for His children and He will do for you today that which you desire.

Sin and Sickness

There was once a deaf lady who was miraculously healed by the power of God. When She came up the platform to testify everybody rejoiced with her. But she had to wait a while before she could be ministered to because there were many more who also came up to testify. While waiting she became angry that she had to wait for a while and her two ears got blocked again.
Here is what happened: Under the anointing of God’s Spirit, the spirit of deafness had to leave her, but the spirit of anger and bitterness with which she had lived with, dominated her. Her wrong attitude brought the deafness back. However, I rebuked the devils again and her ears popped open and she went away hearing. In another meeting several days later, I observed that her hearing was impaired again. She had continued to let anger and bitterness rule her.
Sin is a spiritual condition that produces sickness. Sickness is sin revealed in the human body. If you have been toying with sin, you have opened the door of your life to demons and all sorts of diseases. When anger persists it gives way to bitterness and soon your body becomes a suitable accommodation for sickness. When Jesus healed the man who had suffered for thirty-eight years, He said to him… “Now you are well; don’t sin as you did before or something even worse may happen to you” (John 5:14 LB).
When you get healed, the sickness can come back if you don’t detach yourself from its original cause-sin. When God heals you, enter into the liberty of Christ and remain there through His Word.

God’s Greatest Wish for You

It’s so interesting to know what God’s greatest wish for you really is. God’s greatest wish and desire is for you to prosper and be in health! He desires your prosperity in its entirety- prosperity in your health, your job, your family, your ministry and every area of your life. He wishes above all things that you prosper and be in good health.

Notice how He conjoins His desire for your prosperity with your health. He lets you know how much He wants you rich and healthy. He desires above all things that you are not bound by any kind of infirmity. Maybe you have been sick for a long time, or you know someone who has been confined to a wheel chair and the doctors say there is no hope. I have good news for you: God desires above all things for you to rise up from that sick bed; He desires for you to walk again. He desires to see those blind eyes pop open. He desires for those deaf ears to be unstopped today. He desires for all your needs to be supplied and your bills paid.

God wants you healthy and prosperous; refuse to accept anything contrary. Come into agreement with Him so His wish concerning you can be actualized. He has given you divine, perfect health. Meditate deeply on this truth and let it completely influence your mentality. Respond to this truth today and get up from that wheel chair; do away with those crutches; rise from the sick bed and be loosed from your infirmities!
God does not desire for you to be in that state where you are incapacitated either in your health or finances. His desire for you is categorically stated: it is for you to be healthy and prosperous. He has lifted you out of the dunghill and placed you among princes; He has called you into the high life of the Spirit; He has placed you above and on top. Now you can enjoy absolute prosperity because He has blessed and ordained every work of your hands to be excellent and successful.

Healing is of God.

Jesus went about doing good and healing ALL that were oppressed of the devil; not some, but all. If He did that back in the Bible days, He’s still doing so today; He has not changed. It doesn’t matter what problems you’re facing, one thing is sure, God still performs miracles and you can call on Him today!

It’s so absurd how some people condemn miracles and attribute healing to the devil. How could someone think that miracles performed in the Name of Jesus are from the devil? Does the devil love people? Healing is a good work, and it is of God. Let no one deceive you by telling you otherwise. How else do we prove the reality of the presence of God with His Church without the miraculous? It is the manifestation of the miraculous power of God in in the lives of people that removes Christianity from religion.

Healing is a good work and is of God. Jesus went about doing good and He is still doing the same today! He heals through us today. Glory to God!

Don’t Shift Your Gaze

In the book of Numbers 21:7-9, many of the children of Israel were killed by fiery serpents that invaded their camp. Moses prayed to God for mercy and God instructed him to make a serpent of brass and set it upon a pole, and if anyone who was bitten by a fiery serpent looked upon this brazen serpent, he was healed and didn’t die. In the New Testament, Jesus likened himself to this serpent Moses lifted up on the pole in the wilderness (John 3:14).

Are you sick in the body? Have you given up hope on ever being healed? God is more willing to heal you than you are willing to be healed (Acts10:38). He’s touched with the feeling of your infirmities, but first, you have to make up your mind for something; you must accept and receive the Healer. The Giver of the gift is more important than the gift He gives.

The Amplified translation of Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking away from all that will distract, to Jesus…” Look away from your problem, it could distract you. Look away from your pains; look away from that growth; look away from the doctor’s report; look away from the sore and everything around you. Fix your gaze on the Healer and His Word to you, and you shall live.

Yank off that old cloak

There are lots of hurting people in the world. Many are diseased in their bodies and as a result, carry around something that immediately identifies them with their infirmity. The woman with the issue of blood is a typical example of this. She defied the embarrassing stench that emanated from her because of her plague, and pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of the Master’s garment.

Bartimaeus is another good example. When Jesus called for him to be brought, the Bible says, “bartimeaus yanked off his old coat and flung it aside, jumped up and came to Jesus” (Mark10:50 TLB). He took off the only thing that identified him with blindness. The man acted by faith. He knew he wouldn’t need the coat anymore because he would be healed, and then the master said, ” Your faith has made you whole”; both his eyes opened instantly! Note that this happened after he demonstrated his faith and not before.

Can you hear that voice today? If you couldn’t stand before, stand now! If you couldn’t walk before, walk now! No matter what the sickness is, do what you couldn’t do before. That’s the way to release the power of the anointing upon your situation for a change. Don’t wait until tomorrow, demonstrate your faith today. Not only can you apply this to your body, but also to any situation in your life that is contrary to God’s Word.

Laughter; An antidote for Healing.

Happy people are healthy people! This statement is more than just a cliché; it’s actually supported by the Scriptures. Some men are of the illusion that masculinity and cheerfulness don’t mix; they assume that being a man means they have to be very serious all the time. Some others are afraid to laugh; if they caught themselves laughing, they’ll quickly stop. “How could I have been laughing?; Something is wrong with me”, they would reason within themselves. Such people always have tales of sickness, sorrow and pain.

Interestingly, one very important remedy for sick people to change their situation and receive their healing is to laugh! The Bible says in Proverbs 17:22, “If you are cheerful, you feel good, if you are sad, you will hurt all over” (CEV). You have to learn to laugh even when you don’t feel like it. The devil will ask you: “why are you laughing? Can’t you see all the problems you are faced with?” Don’t pay attention to him; you are simply acting on the Word of God.

God, in all His majesty and supremacy laughs. He is not a sadist who is always frowning and looking serious all the time. The Bible says, “In heaven He laughs as He sits on the throne…” (Psalm 2:4 CEV). So, if the one who owns the whole world can laugh, why shouldn’t you?
When you make this a very important part of your life, your body will always be healthy and you will always have joy of in your spirit.

It may start superficially, but don’t stop until it gets into your spirit. People may think you are out of your mind, but they don’t count. When you laugh more, your environment will become more conducive for the Holy Spirit to work in your life. Glory to God!
