Get Conscious of the Eternal Life in You

on Oct 04 in Healing, Uncategorized tagged by admin

Eternal life, the essence of God – His very nature – is God’s gift to all who believe in Jesus. It’s the life Jesus brought to the world, that’s why He said in John 10:10, “…I am come that they might have life (eternal life), and that they might have it more abundantly; it’s the transcendent life of glory. If you’re born again, that divine, glorious life of God has supplanted your frail humanity.
But you might ask, “How do I know I have eternal life in me, when I can’t feel it in my body?” Well, that’s because eternal life is in your spirit and not in your physical body, but the impact of that life is revealed in your physical body. You don’t have to “feel” it in your body first to be conscious that you have eternal; it’s there in your spirit. That’s why the Apostle John, writing to the Church, stressed the necessity for God’s Children to be conscious that they have eternal life: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” (1 John 5:13).
Now, the consciousness of this miracle-life of God in you activates its working in you, and then you can’t be defiled by the corrupting influences of sickness, infirmity, disease and death. This life permeates your physical body, and keeps it in a state of divine vitalization perpetually.

Refuse to be Sick!

on Sep 25 in Healing, Uncategorized tagged by admin

No one in Zion will say, “I’m sick.” Best of all, they’ll all live guilt-free” (Isaiah 33:24)

The new creation in Christ Jesus has had his human life supplanted with God’s divine life, and the Spirit of God now gives life to his physical body: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).

Thus as one whom the Spirit of God dwells, sickness, disease and infirmity shouldn’t have a place in your physical body because the Life-giver lives in you. Understand that sickness is not part of our heritage in the Kingdom of God; hence you must reject it with absolute vehemence. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God…” This means everything associated with the life of sin has passed away, including sickness, disease and infirmity. Your physical body has become God’s habitation; sickness has no right to co-exist with the Holy Spirit in your body, therefore refuse to be sick!

Light out of Darkness

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6

The Scripture above reveals the power and greatness of our God – He commanded light to come out of darkness. And according to the Scriptures, this same God has Himself shined in our hearts! This means He has brought within us the same ability to cause light to shine out of any dark situation.

So as a Christian, the power to cause something positive to come out of any negative situation resides in you. Thus, if for example, a Christian has been diagnosed with cancer or diabetes, to him, that cancer or diabetes is the darkness he’s facing, and the light he desires to see is his healing. God is saying he can produce healing out of that cancer or diabetes! He can call forth his healing.

No matter what darkness may be facing you today, you can command light to come out of it. If it’s sickness or pain in your body, place your hand on that part of your body and call forth healing. Right in the midst of the seeming impossibilities are your opportunities to excel! Call light out of darkness today.

God’s Word is Medicine

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:20-22)

The word “health” in our opening scripture connotes soundness, or that which has curative ability. In other words, God’s Word is therapeutic, curative and has regenerative ability – it is medicine for your body.

God’s Word brings healing and soundness; this is why it’s important as a Christian to give the Word your undivided attention, and be a doer of the Word. As you digest God’s Word into your spirit through meditation, it will destroy sickness, make you impermeable to disease, and produce life and health in you.

If you’re facing any challenge in your physical body today, the Word of God is the medicine you need; take it as diligently as you would a doctor’s prescription. Not only would it destroy the sickness, it will give you divine immunity against sickness, disease and infirmity.

Meditate on the Word today; as you do, you can be sure that healing and health are being perfected in your physical body, whether you feel it or not. Praise God.

The Power of the Word

on Aug 18 in Healing, Uncategorized tagged by admin

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12)

When the Word of God gets into your spirit, it has the power to make you what it talks about, bringing about a transformation. The Word is the only agent that can transform a person’s life on all three levels–spirit, soul and body.

Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” this means that the Word can also transform your way of thinking. Then also, the Word can transform your physical body: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings… for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20-22). The word “health” is from the Hebrew word “marpe” which means medicine, showing God’s Word will immunize you against sickness and infirmity.

Make a personal decision to improve your life every day with the Word of God, and your life would be truly an unending stream of success, health and progress. Praise God.

No More Sickness!

And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity” (Isaiah 33:24)

In our opening verse, the prophet Isaiah was talking about the inhabitants of Zion – the new creation in Christ Jesus. The New Testament is replete with scriptures that clearly show that no form of sickness has a place in the new creation. Jesus “…Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses (Matthew 8:17), and if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

As a new creation, you don’t get sick because it’s not natural with you; the man that could get sick is dead; the new man that’s alive today carries the indestructible, indefatigable, unconquerable, and invisible life of God – Zoe. God has ordained us to live the supernatural life naturally, therefore no more sickness and disease. Sickness with its attendant effects are gone with the old nature. Hallelujah!

Sickness is Unnecessary

on Jul 21 in Uncategorized tagged by admin

For the Christian, sicknesses, grief and sorrows were borne away by Jesus, and in their place He gave health, peace and joy.

If you believe in Jesus but have been sick in your body, God wants you to get up and out of the rut. His desire is that you prosper and live in health as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). Jesus wants you to discover all He did for you through His death on the cross and begin to appropriate them to yourself.

God loves you, and He sent Jesus to die on the cross for you as proof of that love. Healing and divine health are part of the salvation that was wrought for you on the cross. Therefore, there’s no sickness or disease in your life today that you’re supposed to have. The Bible says Jesus went about doing good and healing all those that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). He was manifested to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). The devil has been defeated; his works have been paralyzed and the victory is yours, Hallelujah!

Walk in the light of your victory today; free of sickness, disease and infirmity.

You Can Have Faith for Others to Be Healed

You Can Have Faith for Others to Be Healed

Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour(Matthew 8:13)

The Bible tells an inspiring story of a certain Centurion whose dear servant was sick and ready to die. When he heard of Jesus, he sent the elders of the Jews to beseech Him that He would come and heal his servant. Jesus agreed and followed them. But just before they got to the Centurion’s house, the Centurion sent a message to Jesus and said, Lord, don’t trouble yourself; for I’m not worthy that you should enter under my roof; neither do I consider myself worthy to come to you, but just give the word, and my servant shall be healed (Luke 7:2-7).

When Jesus heard the words of the centurion He marvelled at his faith and turned to those that followed Him and said, “I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” By the time the messengers got back to the Centurion’s house, they found the hitherto sick servant perfectly healed and made whole (Luke 7:9-10). The faith of his master prevailed and he (the servant) got a miracle!

If the Centurion could demonstrate great faith on his servant’s behalf and get a miracle, you too can have faith to receive a miracle today for your loved ones.

The Triumphant Life

on Jun 24 in Uncategorized tagged by admin

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (1 John 5:11-12).

Biology and Medicine teach that life is transmitted through blood. This is also revealed in the Old Testament, the Bible says the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). But when you’re born again, you cease to live by the blood that flows through your physical body. So, what, or who then gives life to the new creation man? It’s the Holy Spirit: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (give life to) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11). That life is Zoë – the God life!

If you have this life in you and you are conscious of it, sickness, disease and infirmity cannot thrive in your body. That life destroys infection. Understand this, sickness and disease attack the blood, but your life is not dependent on blood if you’re born again: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13).

Live From Above

on Jun 19 in Uncategorized tagged by admin

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world (John 8:23).

When Jesus told the Jews, “You’re from beneath and I’m from above,” He certainly wasn’t referring to His physical origin but His spiritual origin. He is the Word of God that came from heaven (John 1:1; John 6:33).

Now, if you’re born again, you’re born, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible seed, which is the Word of God that lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23). This means you’re born of the Word that came from above and you have the same life from above as Jesus. Thus you can as well declare that you’re from above. This consciousness of your divine origin will change the way you live.

Perhaps everyone in your neighbourhood is catching the flu, you should declare, “No, not me. I’m from above, and we don’t catch the flu where I’m from!” This is how you train yourself in the consciousness of the life you’ve received. Remember, Jesus said you’re not of the world, even as He is not of the world (John 17:16). Praise God!
