A New Principle

on Oct 20 in Uncategorized tagged by admin

Under the Old Testament, there were only three offices that had the anointing of the Holy Spirit. These offices were: the Office of the King, the Office of the Prophet and the Office of the Priest. If you weren’t in any of these offices, you weren’t permitted to speak words of power that would prevail upon life’s situations. The Children of Israel had to depend on the anointing on these men to move ahead.

However, things are different in the New Testament. Anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus can receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit; this is the anointing. Sadly, some people are still running around, looking for someone to pray for them. That is not to say it isn’t good to get someone to pray with you, but you have to get to that point in life where you can stand on your faith and apply the Word of God to change life’s situations to please you!

There are believers today who as though they are in the Old Testament. Though they pray in the name of Jesus, their lives are a revelation of the Old Testament. They call God a consuming fire. Sure, He is a consuming fire but He doesn’t consume His children. The bible says we are not of them that perish but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” (Hebrews 10:13)
This why it’s important for you to know the Word for yourself; you must know how to apply it in your personal life. You have to find out what belongs to you in the kingdom of God, the particular words the Father addresses you with, as well as the language that is spoken in the kingdom.

If you are going to change life’s situations, you have to apply the principles of the Word of God. The beautiful thing about the New Testament is, the power available to anyone and everyone that believes.

Thanks be to our Lord Jesus for He gave us power and authority over all the power of our enemies. Has made us kings and Prists unto God; for as He is in heaven, so are we on this earth. I thank my Lord for the abundance of mercy and the gift of righteousness. I reign in life.
