Delight In Helping Others.on May 15 in Uncategorized tagged by adminIt’s not enough to live long; it’s what you live for that really matters. There are people who lived far more than a hundred years, but made no impact in the lives of those around them; there was nothing significant about their lives. Such people constitute problems to the economy of the world because they contribute anything; they only take, they never give back. Know that your promotion is embedded in your promoting others, and you would only be a success when you make others successful. You will never discover the treasure God has kept in you until you reach out to help someone else become something. That’s where real joy is! The Bible says, “the liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” (Proverbs 11:25). God will make happen for you, what you will make happen for others. So keep helping those around you stand strong and tall; help them discover their God-given potentials; be a part of their success story. If you’re an employer, help those who work with you realize their dreams for success. In the same way, as an employee, be diligent and commit yourself to improving your organization. Make the progress of that organization your watchword, for in her prosperity shall you also prosper. Participators In the Divine Life.on Apr 05 in Uncategorized tagged by adminWhen you got born again, you received the life and nature of God into your Spirit (1 John 5:11-13). This immediately separated you from the rest of the world and positioned you in a different class; you became an active participator in the divine experience. To participate in the divine experience is to take part in and be involved in the divine life. It means you also live the quality of life God lives. This dies not happen when you get to heaven, but here on earth. More so, every day of your life ought to be supernatural, where you impose the principles of God’s kingdom to the affairs of this life. The apostle Paul actively participated in the divine nature. On one occasion, a poisonous snake fastened itself on his hand, but he was not perturbed for he recognized that he was a partaker of the divine life. The Bible says, “…and he shook off the beast into the fire and felt no harm” (Acts 28:5). Those who saw what happened watched him for a while thinking he will swell up and suddenly drop dead. When they saw that nothing happened to him, they began to say amongst themselves; “this man is a god”. I say to you today, that you are more than a mere human being. If you want to be removed from the suffering, sickness, poverty and pain of this life, you must fill your heart with God’s Word and begin today to participate in the life, which you have received from the Lord, living in the high realms of glory where you have daily experiences of divinity. Know the Word for yourselfon Mar 20 in Uncategorized tagged by adminThe life of a Christian isn’t ordinary; it’s supernatural. This is why we’ve been instructed through God’s Word, to live with the consciousness of who we are in Christ. You have to leave the realm of the ordinary and get into the realm of the supernatural, where you take control of the affairs of your life. We are citizens of Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem; this is the city of the living God. As a citizen of this city you have undeniable rights: the right to live, to choose and to receive God’s blessings in Christ. It is also important to know that we have an adversary – the devil, whose mandate is to stop you from enjoying and exercising your rights in Christ Jesus. If you don’t know your rights in Christ, you’ll be at his mercy and that’s a dangerous way for you to live as a Christian Your Rights in Christon Feb 14 in Uncategorized tagged by adminThe Christian life is not an ordinary life. It is a supernatural life for supernatural men. As Christians, we must live with the consciousness of who we are in Christ. You have to leave the realm of the ordinary and come to the realm of the supernatural where you take control of the affairs of your life. We are citizens of Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem; this is the city of the living God. As a citizen of this city you have undeniable rights; the right to live, the right to choose and the right to receive God’s blessings in Christ. It’s also important that I remind you that we have an adversary (the devil) whose mandate is to stop you from enjoying and exercising your God-given rights in Christ Jesus. If you don’t know your rights in Christ, you’ll be at his mercy, and that’s a dangerous way for you to live as a Christian. Start today by digging into God’s Word and searching the Scriptures for yourself. Discover your rights and privileges in Christ- what He has said you can do and have, and then begin to appropriate them in your life. The Word In Youon Jan 30 in Uncategorized tagged by adminChristianity is an exciting life. It is a life of victory through the Word. Religious Christianity teaches people that they have to struggle to walk with God and to do things that would please Him. That’s not Christianity! As a Christian you don’t struggle to please God because the Holy Spirit helps you live the faith life that pleases God. All you have to do is pay attention to Him through His Word. With the Word in you, you wouldn’t keep watching your life to know whether or not you are doing something wrong. David said “the Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). God’s Word in you would regulate your thoughts, actions and guide you in the path of righteousness. Keep the Word in you for what you have stored in your heart is your “treasury”, and that’s what will come out whenever you open your mouth to speak. If you must live the glorious life that God has ordained for you, then you must let the Word of God dominate you. You must let the Word live in you such that when you speak, the Word will talk through you. God’s Abundant Blessingon Oct 03 in Uncategorized tagged by adminAs a Christian, God has blessed you beyond measure. You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Moreover, God didn’t bless you because you were good and kind. Your good works didn’t make God bless you more that He has already done. Jesus already died for you and made you his joint heir, He doesn’t need to bless you more than He already has.
The truth is; you cannot but be blessed! There is nothing too good for you because you are a child of God. So, you don’t need to ask God to bless you anymore because everything he owns belongs to you. No wonder the Bible declares that all things are ours (1 Corinthians 3:21). The Psalmist acknowledged that ‘the earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof ‘, and the Lord has willingly bequeathed His entire wealth to you, as you are His heir. It was His choice and a function of His Grace, not because of what you did. As Christians, we have been predestined to enjoy the infinite wealth and inexhaustible riches of God. He chose us to enjoy His full blessings, not because of our good works or deeds of righteousness, but because of the great love with which He loved us. Take God’s Word Seriouslyon Apr 14 in Word of God tagged Word of God by adminTherefore you shall lay up these My words in your [mind and] hearts and your [entire] being, and bind then for a sign upon your hands and as forehead bands between your eyes. (Deuteronomy 11:18 Amp) God’s Word takes effect only when you hear and do it. “… be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only…” (James 1:22), the Bible says. You must see yourself in the mirror of God’s Word and align yourself with the image you see. This is the reason He gave us His Word in the first place. When you study the Word, be excited because it was written for your benefit. When you look at yourself through God’s Word, you’ll discover that you’ve been promoted and lifted unto the same realm as God. Jesus took your place on the cross, He became the sin sacrifice so you can be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21) God’s Word is incomparable; it’s immeasurable; there’s nothing that can compare with it because it is the standard by which all things are to be defined. The ability you require to do whatever the Word says is in its message to you. Whatever is written in the Word is enough proof of your ability. This is why we must give due attention to the Word. Do you know that we don’t have to start knocking on people’s doors to get them saved? When your heart is filled with God’s Word, you’ll radiate His love. When the love of God abounds in your heart, the atmosphere around you will be charged with His presence, and people will be drawn to God’s love in you. If God’s Word must reign in your environment, it must first reign in your environment; it must first reign in your heart. When you’re filled with His Word you’ll never seek the things of the flesh but rather give attention to things above. Believe in Propserity!on Mar 23 in Uncategorized tagged by admin
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth Your first step to living in prosperity is to believe in prosperity. I’m greatly concerned and feel really sorry for Christians who don’t believe in prosperity. Most times they are the same that condemn and criticize preachers who teach God’s Word on prosperity, and that’s sad. When you don’t believe in prosperity, or in the message of prosperity, you, you are inadvertently saying you don’t believe in God. This is because if you study your Bible carefully, you’d observe that God is personally involved in the prosperity of Christians! Prosperity is His idea, and desire. If anyone should be skeptical about the message of prosperity, it shouldn’t be the Christians, but the non Christians. Interestingly, Christians have been called and specially anointed to make people rich. In 2 Corinthians 6:10, the scripture says “we bestow wealth on many … .” –Weymouth New Testament Translation. If you’re a child of God, believe in prosperity and don’t be apologetic about it. Don’t accept to be poor or average. You’ve been made rich (2 Corinthians 8:9); therefore believe in prosperity and prove your faith by refusing to talk lack and poverty. Instead, keep talking your way to financial abundance! Become a Passionate Soul Winner!on Jan 25 in Uncategorized tagged by adminOur purpose for remaining on earth today is to win souls unto the Lord and mature in Christ. We’re not here just to accumulate wealth and riches that will perish with this world; these aren’t of any eternal value. When you study the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus, you’ll observe that reaching the people was the focus of His ministry. An example was when He took time to preach to the woman at the well, even though He was very tired and hungry (John 4:5-26). When the disciples saw the way His face lit up as He spoke to the woman, they were convinced He had eaten something. When they asked Him about it, His response was, “…My meat (food) is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work” (John 4:34); put differently, “My nourishment is to win souls.” Just like Jesus, I love to win souls; I love to tell people about His love for mankind. This is the reason we’re reaching people through every available means with this gospel of the grace of God. The Lord Jesus said, “… I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:10), and He used the parable of the prodigal son to elucidate on this statement. This parable is of utmost importance. Consider the father’s response to his son’s return and the ensuing homecoming celebration. You see, every time you win a soul to the Lord, you’re creating much celebration in heaven. Just as the Lord Jesus said, there’s much rejoicing in heaven when a soul is won to the Lord. The angels celebrate so much over one sinner that repents because that’s the purpose for the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says, the Lord is unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9); and for this reason He patiently waits for us to win them. Make soul winning your utmost priority today; let your mind be preoccupied with it. Begin to come up with effective strategies to win more and more people to the Lord. Let’s make it an endless celebration for the angels, and the hosts of Heaven. |
