Hello! It’s decision time again on Pastor Chris Online; another opportunity to choose from given options that exciting topic you want the man of God, Pastor Chris, to address during the next webcast.
The topics for this week are:
1. Location of the Garden of Eden -Was the Garden of Eden a spiritual location? Where is it today and how come no one ever found the tree of life after Adam?
2. Did God accept a human Sacrifice? – In 2 Kings 3:18 – 27, the children of Israel received a word from God, that they would have victory in war over the Moabites. However, during the battle, when the King of Moab realized he was losing, he sacrificed his eldest son as an offering, and the Bible declares there was great indignation against Israel, and they departed from the Moabites. Why did this happen? Was the sacrifice to God, and did he accept it?
3. Why did God create a devil?- Is there a personality known as the devil? If there is, was it God who created him, and why?
4. Is Transsexualism a sin? – Transsexualism is a condition in which a person has an intense desire to change his/her biologic sex and live as a member of the opposite sex. Some transsexual individuals cross-dress and seek medical or surgical help to change their physical sex characteristics. In the world today, many have found themselves in this condition, and the society generally frowns at it; but is it really a sin in God’s perspective?
Get your friends and loved ones involved in this too and remember, your thoughts on your topic of choice and why you want it addressed are most welcome!
God bless you!

Thank you pastor for this opportinunty,The topic i will want paster to teach is Why did God create a devil?
#8 by Gadi - August 13th, 2009 at 06:47
I choose topic number 3,”Why did God create a devil” because I want to know the truth about the creation of Devil. Today most people are doing evil things and I want to know if they are driven by the force of evil or what? Also it will help me with the clarification of demons, if they are from the Devil and the relationship between God and the Devil.
#9 by Paul Jerome - August 13th, 2009 at 07:07
That topic of human sacrifice has my vote as i believe God can not want any human sacrifice after commanding us “not to kill”.
The garden of Aden must be physical as it had four rivers watering it and important enough to be mentioned by name in the bible. Remember Lazarus’ rich man was not named and the bible has no meanigless details. Take them on Pastor as we are looking forward to enjoying another rich teaching. Thank you.

I VOTE FOR QUESTION FOR QUESTION 2, OT HAS BEEN ON MY MIND FOR QUITE SOMETIME NOW. WAS IT THE MOTIVE OR THE SACRIFICE THAT GOD ACCEPTED.
#16 by Jill - August 13th, 2009 at 09:10
God did not create a devil because all that God created was good. We read in Isaiah how Satan decided to become what he represents today because he made a choice to be a devil. All that God creates is good!

#25 by AGUTI ANNET - August 13th, 2009 at 10:47
Thanks for this opportunity.
My choice is 1 & 2;
1. Garden of Eden is a physical location just like the Egypt, the Red Sea, River Nile etc. The location most likely is in Uganda given the uniqueness of this country, source of the Nile among others.
2. God’s indignation perturbed me too having previously assured Israel of victory. However, the King’s act of sacrifice of his son, representative of Jesus,’ is the ultimate price for sin atonement, hence it caught God’s attention that Israel had driven Him to cause innocent blood to be shed, like Cain & Abel; thus the indignation.
God bless you!

#37 by David - August 13th, 2009 at 12:01
I think of this sometimes ago. Is Trans-sexualism a sin?
#38 by ben_kwasarp - August 13th, 2009 at 12:03
I believe, God did not create a devil. The devil was once an angel of God but rebelled against Him. As an angel, special powers were part of their nature or being. He lost his position as a rebel leader and became the devil as we know now.
The Garden of Eden would not be a spiritual place because, Adam and Eve were physical beings, living in physical natural world(earth) and we human beings are product of them. A natural being can not live in spiritual environment. It is similar to a fish living on land.

Dear Pastor, Thank you for the opportunity. I will take question 2.
#44 by Barros Afonso - August 13th, 2009 at 14:16
Shalom dearest pastor and sisters and brothers,
pastor, I am just groping about, I know, you will feed us properly about those topics in due course.
I have chosen number 3, why did God create the devil?
I do not think God created the devil. We should understand first of all the true meaning of the word devil. I think devil means opponent, so, devil is just an opponent, an opponent to God.
There is nowhere in the bible, writen that God created the devil. In genesis 1:26, God said; “let us make man in our image…”
Let us make man … The “us” indicates the existence of more than one creators at that time, we know that Jesus was present. I wonder if at that time, the angels, lucifer included were already created.
We know that “lucifer” was a beloved angel of God. But, according to the word, lucifer created in him negative attitude. We know that he became envious, jealous, in short, he wanted to be also god, he wanted to compete with God, so, he was thrown out of heaven.
From that time, we have now what we call devil.
I do not think that, our God who so loved the world (of men), could create a destroyer among his beloved.
Shalom to all.
