How to know the Voice of the Spirit by Pastor Chrison Jul 19 in Uncategorized tagged by pastortv“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”- John 10:27 One question many Christians have sought answer for is: “How do I know when the Holy Spirit is talking to me?” The first and most important thing is to receive the Holy Spirit into your heart. When this happens the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within you and mingles with your spirit. The Bible says, “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit…”-(1 Corinthians 6:17), thus you become one with Him. Soon, you’ll hear His voice talking to you from your spirit. Romans 8:16 says the Spirit, “beareth witness with our spirit”; so you’ll have the witness in your spirit that He’s the one talking to you. He is the best One to teach you how to know His voice, so first you receive Him, then He’ll be the One to talk to you and teach you to recognize His voice. Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for sending your Spirit to live within me. I pay attention to him today and always as he speaks to me from your Word, and counsels me from within. This is wonderful. It is a step by step revelation of how to know the voice of the spirit. First of all I am involved, get in contact with the spirit by receiving him into myself; secondly, give myself to an intence study of the word of God in deep meditation. In the scriptures, the word is spirit and the spirit is life and this is the true life I lived. God is wonderful making me know who I am. Knowing the voice of the spirit is knowing who and what I am, that is my born again life in action. My spirit, the word and the life I lived. every relationship has to be nurtured.it will take some time to get to the level of intimacy you want with the holy ghost.Your present dissatisfaction is actually very healthy because God is calling you to a higher walk with him.Don’t be discouraged but just keep spending quality time with God and you will achieve that level you desire to be.
