“Can a man through prayer reverse the destiny God has set for him?” Rumbidzai from the United Arab Emirates asked. Emphatically yes; tough to hear but true, replied Pastor Chris. A man can through prayers reverse the destiny set for him. Pastor Chris drew reference from the story of Hezekiah in the book of Isaiah 38. Click Here to watch.
What exactly is the destiny of God? Does God change His mind? What is God’s purpose?
Kindly share your thoughts and personal testimonies right here on the blog.
God bless you!

Destiny is the total divine consignment of your entire being and what you are created to fulfill on earth base on the word of God concerning an individual. We were created for a purpose and that purpose is tie to your destiny. There is nothing like a bad destiny as a child of God. Once born again, you remain on the high ways of fulfilling that glorious destiny of god concerning you. The devil twist the destiny of the unsaved to destruction. YOU WERE CREATED AS HIS WORKMANSHIP IN SUCH A TIME LIKE THIS TO FULFILL A PURPOSE. YOUR LIFE WAS PREWRTTEN AND PREORDAINED. YOU HAVE AN EXPECTED GLORIOUS END. Thank you

For a christian, our destiny is glorious though some find it difficult because of their background. But experience is not the best teacher, the Holy Spirit is, and he says: the one who could have a bad destiny if the man born after the first Adam; after flesh and blood ie according to the will of the flesh. But the man born after God is spirit, therefore cannot have a bad, but a glorious destiny in God. That’s why Paul said by the Spirit; Christ in you is the hope of glory. But if you still know Christ after the flesh like the Jews do, you get nothing, but when you accept God’s report, you will know what it means to be a new creation…a new generation, one with God’s DNA, the DNA of the second and last Adam; who is a life giving Spirit. If you are born after him, you are a life giver, you can have a bad destiny, but you can change any situation if you don’t like. God Bless.

Christians destiny is glorious. Its is therefore our duty to strain to partake it as many are the challenges and temptations but happy are those who will conquer with Christ Jesus.Surely a Christian destiny can be reversed and its possible.Jesus said whatever you shall pray by my name it shall be given to ye.Also the Bible says pray and ask and it shall be given to you knock and it will be opened for you and seek and you shall see.Christians makes a mistake through despair.Trouble not for it shall be done to you.

Surely yes, every born again believer has changed his/her destiny through prayer. You pray to be saved, so if you’re not save or you are saved but backslided or because you are facing a challenge, satan is lying to you about your destiny, still prayer can change it by studying the word of God and re-discover whom you’re in the Lord and your true destiny which God has pre-destined before you were formed. Be blessed.

Destiny refers to the totality of the purpose an individual was created to serve as ordained and consigned to that individual by the Monarch of the universe even before that individual was born.
Until an individual discovers himself in God, dentiny for such a person will be on a natural pedestal; unsure, filled with voids, struggles and beclouded by the darkness that is in the world.
For the christian, God’s workmanship (God’s well thougt out, designed, packaged and openly showcased special product), destiny has been ordained to be beautiful, glorious and filled with the blessings of the gospel of Christ.
While it is possible to change or alter ones destiny, it is also possible to live short of one’s destiny; knowing one’s destiny and yet not fulfilling it as divinely ordained by God. The christian is God’s divine investment imbued with all the essence of divinity and is expected to yield dividends to the kingdom of God by fulfilling his or her God given destiny. One thing remains central in the destiny of every christian; it is ordained to impact the world for God.
Thank you.

pastor,s answer to the the question is very correct, because if you read the acount of ezekiel 37,you will found out that though the bones are dried and scatered, when the prophet prophesy to it, the bible said, they became a GREAT ARMY,so any thing is possible, and i am a living testimony to that.
pastor thank you for teaching me the word God.

Yes, a man can reverse his destiny. Our calling is a call to glory and virtue. Anything that is short of that is abnormal and can easily be changed through prayers and our tongues. Proverbs 18:21. life and death are in the power of the tongue. Your help is not in the mountains but is nigh thee even in your mouth. Romans 10:8. God made man and deposited a lethal weapon in his tongue with which he can chart the course of his life. Glory to God , I know how to use my tongue. I can change my world. “Ye are gods and the children of the most high . If you are ignorant of this fact then, you will walk on in darkness and your destiny will be of course and you will glorify God for an evil that you would have easily reversed.(Psalms 82:6) . God calleth those things which are not as though they were and you can too!( Romans 4:17) Call forth what you want and you’ll see it manifesting.(John 20:21) What an incredible truth and power we have as God’s children. Yes! I can reverse my destiny, it is not rocket science it is a gospel reality. Halleluyah!

Our God ordained destiny after we have given our lives to Christ is to reign as Kings and Priests. To fulfill the propagation of His Kingdom as He has enabled us with the Holy Spirit for this Kingdom commission. Our destiny in Christ is a calling unto fruitfulness. We are His ambassadors reconciling the World to Him.

I just want to thank God for the life of pastor Chris. He is indeed a life giving spirit and a strengthener. His style of answering questions are unrivaled globally. That’s a proof of Gods manifested presence in his life. Of course a man can reverse his destiny through powerful and prevailing prayers. We are a people of prophecy and can use our tongue by rightly aligning to the good plan and purpose of God for our life. Glory to God.

yes prayer plays a key role in life, and prayer
is the key to man’s success, prayer will deliver
to the hand of man whatever he or she has been destined for, let’s look at the life of Hannah. The bible says she can not conceived because her
womb had been blocked, and the bible says Hannah
went down on her knees and prayed to God,she did not just pray, she even told God exactly her case,if you can give me a baby son.
anyone who believes in Jesus Christ today can
reverse his destiny through prayer.

The message by pastor Chris-Sons of God teaches us that if you give your all in to the prayer and state your case before Him why you do not want the kind of destiny God has placed before you He will understand because He loves and want to see you happy therefore grant you the desires of your heart.

Thank you Pastor for all the prayers. I have found GOD’s love through your prayers. Early April 2009, I sent in a prayer request, my children were destined not to go to school. I was broke, with no idea of where I was going to get US$1 200 for fees. After sending in a prayer request and getiing your response on Seven Fold Increase, a week later my husband was offered a freelance job in which he was paid US$10 000 for 15 days. I saw the power of prayer and trully believe in it. Thank you once more Pastor, you are a true man of GOD

DESTINY,according to my dictionary, is defined as: (1) the events that will happen to a person. (2) the hidden power believed to control future events; fate. The bible made us to understand that we have our destiny in our mouth,in our words. we were also taught by pastor chris that with our words we can change the cause of our lives. And that we are where we are now as result of what we’ve been speaking or saying concerning our lives. God loves us. And its true a born again christian can truely change is destiny by speaking(praying) to God almighty. thank you pastor chris for this insight and other expositions you have made us to know, see and understand. God bless you real good.

This is complicative to attempt, God said my thought for you are of good not of evil, then how can someone revers God good’s plan on his/her destiny.
It is not possible for the life of the new creation, but in the time of the law it’s possible.
#48 by Ossam - November 1st, 2009 at 13:57
Well, what i have studied from holy books of all religions, is that YES, destiny can be changed but it doesnot mean that what was written was changed, infact God knew that and he planned to do it but on your will, and whatever we demaned to change is again on His willingness, and most important thing is that we are given with the power of thinking and selecting good or bad, but still God knows, and infact it is His knowledge to know each and everything, there are many instances in history like one very famous of Moses in which somebody asked him to request God to give him all in one day so that he can live one day happily and then God gave him, and he started sharing with poor so God gave him more and more, this proved the way God works. i hope this will clear answer to this question.
