On Tuesday 12th January 2010, the whole world stood in utter bewilderment as we watched disturbing images of collapsed buildings, human casualties, and a panic-stricken populace: A magnitude-7 earthquake had hit the impoverished country of Haiti doing catastrophic damage to its capital Port-au-Prince and other nearby areas.
A disaster like this is never easy for even the most developed nations and the spectrum of those affected spreads well beyond the borders of Haiti. Even the UN took a blow as its multistory headquarters was brought down along with many other significant structures including the presidential palace, schools, and even church buildings.
Thankfully, much needed aid is coming in from different parts of the world and rescue operations have begun in earnest, but there’s something more that’s required. The Bible lets us know that “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it;” (Psalm 127:1). Right now, let us send out a prayer for Haiti and give a word of hope to those who are desperately in need of it.
Remember that we have a priestly ministry and our words can make a world of difference. Please post words of encouragement, prayers and prophecy for Haiti right here on the blog.
God bless you!

Father we ask in the Name of Jesus that You work mightily within the people of HAITI particularly the leaders accross various aspects of the society , breeding Wisdom which is required for now and for the restoration of the nation of Haiti.
I speak blessings in Jesus name to those who are involved in rescues so far away from their families responding to the call for rescue.
Thank you Father that the nation of Haiti is now positioned for Greatness as all the people entirely trust in You as You begin to comfort, to purify, to save, restore and to exalt the nation above poverty, bondage and oppression.
Amen

Blessed be God, even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; (2 Cor. 1:3- The Bible).
Only God can truly provide comfort in times of trouble even when we don’t want to be comforted or think we don’t deserve to be comforted. He reaches out to us, when we turn to him, and shows us how to find the better tomorrow he has prepared for us.
There’s always a better tomorrow in God.Always!

The Lord Say I will never leave you nor forsake you. Haiti has not been forsaken. This has been done for a purpose. The Egyptians suffered with tramor when they were on their way to freedom. Job Suffered all pain during his testeing times but all these happened for a good purpose. May the souls of those who passed away rest in peace.

Whenever a disaster of such magnitude occur in any part of the globe, it should alert us about the need for us to take our priestly ministry seriously. The saints should at all times intercede for the people of the world, because that is our responsibility and we must not play with it. Remember the only ingredient necessary for evil to prevail is when good men do nothing. I pray that God will give the people of Haiti the strength and courage to pull through this difficult time in their history as a nation. May God help Haiti.

The disaster that occurred in Haiti is a heart-rending one. But, as it has been rightly mentioned, all we can do is PRAY.
I pray that those who have been affected will be comforted. I pray that they will turn to God and look in the face of Jesus rather than blame Him for the actions of the enemy. I see that nation rising again mightily, and it’s people turning to the One True God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Once again, may the Lord comfort them mightily.
I also pray that the logistics of getting supplies down there are taken care of from the realm of the spirit such that there are no physical issues.
God bless Haiti and all Haitians around the world!!!

For the families of those who didn’t make it, I pray that the grace of God would upon them to forge ahead and believe in tomorrow. I also pray for Haiti. I pray for the strongholds of witchcraft and all that is displeasing to the Lord, to be removed. I pray for Haitians to find refuge in the Lord Jesus Christ during these times. I believe that this is the turning point for the destiny of the nation of Haiti. I prophecy that many missionaries and powerful believers will be produced in that country. Let the extreme in witchcraft be equalled by an extreme in worshipping God and allowing the miraculous to become the norm in Haiti. We love you Haitians, you are our African brothers and sisters.
